About the club
Holmes Chapel Boxing Club is run by a team of volunteer coaches. Club aims and objectives include:
- Offer coaching and competitive opportunities in boxing
- Promote the values of hard work, discipline and respect for self and others
- Promote the club within the community of Holmes Chapel and surrounding areas
- Promote and encourage healthy lifestyles
- Provide a positive alternative to crime and anti-social behaviour
We are affiliated to England Boxing, the National Governing Body for Amateur Boxing.
In May 2020 we became a Registered Charity (No 1189313) as part of Holmes Chapel Boxing Foundation. The club, its work with young people and wider competitive boxing will always be our heart beat. However, we always wanted to build something that is special, part of the community and accessible to as many people as possible.
Our volunteers already invest a huge amount of their time in addition to busy family lives and hectic work schedules. The Foundation allows us to achieve these wider aims and make best use of our amazing facilities in Station Yard.
Delivery will always be by qualified boxing coaches, as we grow we will continue to invest in the team that can deliver more for Holmes Chapel and surrounding areas

Stephen moved to Holmes Chapel a few years ago having worked in the village for over ten years. He is a Project Manager for a housing company with specific experience working with resident and community groups.
